Greg's Notes on rehearsal

Great work last night! Thank you! In preparation for next week and to continue what was worked on this week:
SATB"Come Sunday" - Get thee to a piano and or your nearest tuning fork and double check your pitches. As you sit and work on homework AT HOME, for a break practice your deep breathing. Remember it will take lots more air to support the straight tone, Senza Vibrato (without vibrato).
"Sing A Song Of Six Pence" - Get thee to a piano and or your nearest tuning fork and practice your pitches. Your work last night was great, lets continue to move forward by solidifying individual pitches throughout. The TEXT.....you must say the text to yourself and get comortable with it. Keep it very proper British, rrrrrrrolling the R's, keep consonants very crisp and staccato when appropriate. Ladies I hope your rehearsal with Mr. Krape was successful on pages 12 to the end.

Men - Good work, keep it up! Please look over "Fragile" especially the 2nd section. Those interested in singing the solo should also spend some time preparing so that we can hear you in rehearsal. We will rehearse pages 12 to 15 of "Six Pence" next week in our sectional, you must look at this before then. Please be proactive and look over all of your music weekly. Spend some time on passages you find difficult, circle them and lets hit them in sectionals.
